Brighton Pier
Brighton's seafront is home to the biggest attraction in the South East. Opened in 1899, this amusement park features fairground rides, bars, restaurants, and deckchairs. Brighton Palace Pier features rides and amusements such as the Wild River, the Horror Hotel and the Crazy Mouse.
Royal Pavilion & Garden
The very impressive Royal Pavilion is an exotic palace in the heart of Brighton close to the seafront, with a colourful history. Built as a seaside holiday palace for King George IV, this historic house mixes Regency grandeur with the distinctive visual style of India and China.
The Lanes
Once known as Brighthelmstone's hub, The Lanes now feature upmarket restaurants, quaint tearooms, and traditional pubs serving real ale. Among its narrow, twisting alleyways are independent jewellers and tiny, high-end antique shops.
